Since 1922, the Coronado Flower Show has invited us to gather beneath the tent to celebrate beauty, community, and heritage, and to watch our traditions grow side by side with new inspiration.
In 2026, we turn the page to a bolder story: Welcome to the Jungle.
This year, we invite every visitor, exhibitor, volunteer, and gardener to wander into a wild and lush world where the familiar paths between blooms become winding trails through foliage, surprises hide around every corner, and color, texture, shadow, and light play in vivid harmony. It is an invitation to step off the garden path and into a jungle of possibility.
The 2026 show brings together the delicate and the bold, the native and the exotic, the sculptural and the wild, promising:
Immersive installations inspired by the forest canopy, understory, and hidden glades.
Botanical theatrics featuring dramatic textures, tropical foliage, layered compositions, and surprise vignettes.
A lush visitor journey with meandering pathways, intimate hideaways, and moments of discovery.
Creative expression across horticulture and design, from floral arrangements to structural natural wonders.
A community rooted in tradition. While pushing boundaries, we honor the show’s long legacy of more than 100 years and its power to connect people and nature.
Enter the Holiday Home Front Judging Contest
Celebrate Coronado’s festive spirit by entering the Holiday Home Front Judging Contest!
Join one of Coronado’s most beloved traditions by decorating your home with holiday lights, winter blooms, and seasonal cheer. The first 50 entrants will receive a commemorative keepsake, and the winner will earn the coveted Holiday Homefront title!
One of Coronado’s most cherished traditions is growing. The Coronado Floral Association (CFA) proudly announces the launch of Holiday Home Front Judging, a new seasonal addition to its long-standing Home Front Judging program.
Rooted in the heart of the Coronado Flower Show, Home Front Judging has become one of the city’s most honored spring traditions, celebrating the pride and creativity of residents who bring color and beauty to every home front. The program’s patriotic branch, the Fourth of July Home Front Judging, has become a summer favorite, inspiring neighbors to deck their homes in red, white, and blue and honor summer blooms.
Now, CFA introduces a winter chapter to the tradition, recognizing winter floral blooms and displays, festive décor, and the warmth of holiday lights. Judging will take place in the late afternoon and at dusk, allowing both the seasonal blooms and twinkling lights to shine.
The 2025 Holiday Home Front Judging Committee has set the following schedule:
Contest Announcement: Tuesday, November 11
Entry Deadline: Sunday, December 7
Preliminary Judging: Monday, December 8, and Tuesday, December 9
Final Judging: Wednesday, December 10, to coincide with the CFA Board Meeting that evening
The first 50 entrants will receive a commemorative keepsake as a thank-you for participating. And the winner will be honored with the coveted Holiday Home Front Title.
“Home Front Judging represents Coronado’s love of beauty, pride in community, and the joy of coming together through creativity,” said CFA Co-President, Colby Freer. “Adding a holiday edition brings even more opportunity for neighbors to celebrate the season and the place we’re lucky enough to call home.”
Residents are encouraged to enter their homes or nominate a neighbor whose festive spirit deserves recognition. Entries are free, and participation is open to all Coronado addresses, including homes, apartments, condominiums, and military housing.
