The country’s largest tented flower show, bringing the community together in Spreckels Park since 1922—all made possible by volunteers.
The 2027 show
April 17 & 18, 2027.
Two days of flowers, garden exhibits, and friendly competition under the tents in Spreckels Park. The theme, entry divisions, and ticket details will be announced in January.
The Association
Run by volunteers, rooted in community.
The Coronado Floral Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit run entirely by volunteers. From organizing the Flower Show to judging front gardens around town, our volunteers share their love of gardening and bring neighbors together throughout the year.
Since 1922
It started with one good idea.
In 1922, Maud and Harold Taylor helped bring a divided Coronado together with a flower show. Neighbors lent supplies, local businesses pitched in, and a community tradition took root. More than a century later, the show is still held in Spreckels Park.
